Soltek Pacific Construction Company is accepting applications for a Site Safety and Health Officer on a project at Lemoore NAS.

This position requires a self motivated individual that can perform Safety and Occupational Health Management, Surveillance, Inspections and Safety Enforcement.

Responsibilities include conducting daily safety and health inspections in order to identify potential safety hazards as well as maintaining safety inspection log. Will conduct accident investigations and weekly safety tailgate meetings.

Candidates must have advanced proficiency in MS Word and Excel, excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to build and maintain working relationships with other team members and peers, which include Senior Management, Project Managers, Superintendents, Subcontractors and Military Contracting representatives.

Requirements include a MINIMUM of 5 years Safety or related experience in the Construction industry; as well as documentation of AT LEAST 125 hours of formal safety training, an OSHA 30 hour class and EM-385 40 hour.

Must be dependable and hard working with 3 years of Construction Experience.

10 Hour OSHA Training certificate preferred.

This position has a Davis Bacon Wage Rate of 16.49 per hour.
