Sherman Elementary School is "DOING IT SAFELY?"
A catered buffet was provided by Jeff Kleinfelter of Aurora Industrial Hygiene, a third party safety consulting firm contracted by SDUSD. A total of 90 people turned out for the celebration.
In the early stages of this project, Brandon Richie, Rick Austin, and Mike Hagler had an idea to elevate safety awareness on this site. This was to be the model site for all other Soltek Pacific projects. One proactive measure was to post a sign at the entry stating how many days the site has gone without an accident. This site has surpassed 234 days. We can be proud everyday we walk pass that sign, and see that another day has been added. And, at the end of the day, we can walk off this site knowing that we are “DOING IT SAFELY”.
