This project involves the construction of a new 32,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art  Sciences Complex at Chaffey College.  The complex is comprised of four-buildings on 3.5 acres. Buildings are steel-frame construction with stucco finish and metal roofing. Project includes four chemistry laboratories equipped with fume hoods, emergency shower rooms, eye-wash stations and point-of-use distribution of exotic gases.

Other lab buildings include animal cadaver coolers, downdraft ventilator stations and individual student lab benches. Interior labs are ventilated through several 23-ft roof-mounted stainless steel exhaust stacks.

Each classroom is outfitted with natural lighting, overhead projectors with motorized projection screens, state-of-the art high tech eclectronic connectoin points for student access, and the complex is ADA compliant.

Other special features include a bird aviary constructed of structural steel, masonry, netting and storefront windows. Future plans include the addition of a greenhouse and science pond..
