The Tecate Border Port of Entry is a 19,262-sf expansion and historic renovation project. The work included the construction of new facilities and the repair and renovation of an existing historic structure located at the United States Port of Entry at Tecate, California. The work includes fences, roads, parking primary inspection stations, secondary inspection stations, pedestrian processing facilities, offices for government employees and staff, cargo inspections facilities and incidental related work. There are multiple buildings and multiple stories. Soltek also installed kitchen equipment and clothing lockers.

This phased project included an addition and alteration to the existing historic administration building and construction of new structures. The work included site work, landscaping, demolition, concrete, masonry, structural steel, architectural woodwork, built-up roofing, clay tile roofing, wood and metal doors, wood and metal windows, glazing, interior finishes, equipment, plumbing, HVAC,electrical and communications/alarm work. The scope also included bullet resistant construction, relocation of government owned items and installation of manufactured inspection booths, antenna tower and pad.
