What was your first Soltek Project?
Riverside II, CA State Prison, Blyth CA • 1992
What was your favorite Soltek Project? Why?
Long Beach Community Collage LARC Library. The project had a bit of everything as well as a few challenging Architectural and Structural components
How did you get into the construction field? Education?
Started working as a Concrete Carpenter/ Finisher straight out of the Army in 86. It was the trade of my Father and his Brother who both trained me. From there I realized it is not a trade that I could do forever so I listened and watched many trades and learned as much as I could from as many people I could. The day you stop learning is the day you stop growing. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Taking my boat to the Colorado River and spending time with my Family and friends.
What is your favorite meal?
Ribeye Steak with sautéed mushrooms
What would you like to be famous for?
Famous? I don’t think that will happen but I would like to be remembered for my accomplishments, projects, and being a great father and husband that raised 3 wonderful successful children. Kind of sounds like a eulogy.
