Soltek takes a proactive approach to Safety

At Soltek, safety is not just a priority; it's a fundamental part of our core values. Our commitment to creating a safe working environment for our employees is evident in every project we undertake. We firmly believe that Zero is Achievable and that every task should be handled the safe way, every time, from start to finish.

Strengthening Safety Initiatives

The Soltek 1152 United Airlines Hangar Terminal  team, under the leadership of SSHO, Julio Benitez and Senior Project Engineer Natalya Hovsepyan, recently hosted the monthly Building L.I.F.E. (Leaving Injury Free Everyday) lunch meeting. This working lunch, attended by representatives from Malcolm Drilling and OHE Painting, exemplifies our ongoing efforts to enhance safety measures.

These monthly meetings aim to enhance Soltek's safety program and project leadership by directly involving site workers. Over a working lunch, the team discusses ideas to enhance site safety, logistics, material handling, waste reduction, and boost cost-effectiveness and productivity. This kind of collaborative approach fosters ongoing improvement and worker participation. The feedback and action plans are prominently displayed on the site safety board, ensuring continual monitoring and implementation of ideas and suggestions. This transparent process reflects Soltek's core values and our motto:

"Zero is Achievable, Every Task, the Safe Way, Every Time."
