Soltek Awarded $19.8 Million Mental Health Crisis Facility

Soltek Pacific Construction Company will be the Prime Contractor on the $19.8 million 50 Bed Mental Health Crisis Facility, California Men’s Colony project funded by the State of California, Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The facility located in San Luis Obispo, California shall include construction of a new two-story mental health facility that will provide 33,611 square feet of housing and treatment space on the ground floor level and 12,151 square feet of administration space on the second floor. Three new guard towers shall also be constructed. Additional scope of work to be perform includes: site grading, building pad preparation, storm drainage improvements, utility extensions and connections, new roads, expansion of the existing parking lots to accommodate for lost parking spaces at the new building location, and extension of the perimeter security fence. Project is scheduled for completion by September 2013.
