Soltek submitted their Design-Build, Montgomery High School, Classroom/Administration and Gymnasium Building project completed for the Sweetwater Union High School District. The project was accomplished in partnership with local architects, Zagrodnik + Thomas Architects, LLP, and consisted of the new construction of a 52,000 sq. ft. NCAA standard gymnasium along with an 18,000 sq. ft. classroom/administrative building. Montgomery High School, located in the South Bay area of San Diego, has almost 1,700 students in grades 9-12 and enjoys a full athletics program offering fall, spring and winter sports. To meet the needs of the students, administrators, and student athletes, Soltek designed and built a state of the art gymnasium and tech savvy classroom/administration building. The two buildings were constructed concurrently over the course of a 13 month accelerated schedule. Soltek managed the project in a true Design-Build delivery format, where the design-build team deployed LEAN principles, working extensively with the owner, architect and end-users in both the pre-construction and construction phases.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
