Judging criteria was based on energy efficiency/renewable energy, water conservation, sustainable materials use/reuse, indoor air quality improvement, waste reduction/diversion, public education and innovative design. The judging committee was particularly impressed with how this project was able to reduce its impact on natural resources and maximize efficiency all while creating a positive environment for staff and patients. The project is on track to receive LEED Gold Certification.
